It's a....

GIRL!!

Daddy and Mommy are both extremely surprised! Paul and I both thought BOY all the way. Apparently, we were the only ones who thought boy! Poppy, Tada (Mom's grandmother name), Gigi, NaNa, Aunt Tonya, Aunt Rosie all thought Girl. We couldn't be more excited to welcome this baby girl into our family--she will not lack good loving, a fashionable wardrobe and great eyelashes from her daddy!

If you haven't heard by now...

Yes, the Comers are EXPANDING! We are thrilled to welcome this baby to our family and could not be happier that God chose us to be parents.

Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. Mark 11:24

Ahhhhh....

The Royal Barn Wedding went off without a hitch this weekend! It was a fairy tale wedding, right down to the weather. Considering the major damage from tornadoes in our area this week we are blessed to have our homes standing and power. Ben and Heather were all smiles and throughly enjoyed themselves! Everything was beautiful!
CONGRATS to Mr. and Mrs. Ben Stewart!

Stay tuned for more pics...

Shout Out!

My Dad holding a sweet, Guatemalan baby

I'm asking for prayer for my dad whose been in Guatemala on a mission trip for the last 1.5 week--pray for safe travels, health and strength. I have a few verses to share that come to my mind when I'm  thinking about the blessings my dad is recieving down there.

 Proverbs 22:9

A generous man will himself be blessed, for he shares his food with the poor.

Acts 11:25

In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: 'It is more blessed to give than to receive".

Luke 6:38

Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you."

Timothy 6:18-19

18 Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share. 19 In this way they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life.

I know you will read this daddy, I LOVE YOU and I'm so Proud to call you my earthly Father! <3

Third Saturday in October

My favorite time of the year has quickly approached us! Have I mentioned I LOVE football? Well, seriously if I haven't then you may have missed out on one of the most interesting things about me!

What makes me tick?

a. God
b. Family, Friends, Football & Fellowship
c. Eating good food, Cooking
d. Shopping & Dressing well

Onward to the topic of my Blog post...Third Saturday in October.

If you google Third Saturday in October you'll actually find a wikipedia definition. Even though the game has only fallen on that weekend 5 times since the '92 season. For the last 22 years (at least) it's been a family tradition to head up to Gatlinburg for the weekend to watch the Crimson Tide slaughter the Tennessee Vols.   On Saturday we make the drive from G'burg to Knoxville and cheer on the Tide.

This year makes #5 that Paul & I have made the trip with my parents. It was like no other this year... Friday night we ate at The Peddler and if you've not been here it's AWESOME! I recommend the ENORMOUS salad bar if you are not starving. For the men or starving women the Peddler comes to take your order and cuts your meat tableside.

This year was a little different... Paul didn't meet mom, dad and I until Friday night.

We had FUN in the meantime!

Zip lining was an adventure! It's a bit hard to explain the experience but I would totally do it again!

Oldies but goodies! Our first trip to Knoxville together 2002

BAHAHAHA! Paul looks so mean! :)

The Carter Family + Paul looking excited!

G'BURG 2004 (I've already added these to the embarassing folder) :)

I'm sure we are making fun... too bad we look AWFUL!

You're welcome! I'm sure you've burned off some calories. Go have a cupcake!

Fondue with The Bagwell's

I heart FONDUE PARTIES!!!

When I was little we used to go over to the Springer's house and have fondue around their table. I remember like it was yesterday! It's great to share this time with special people. Believe me there is plenty of time to make memories and get to know each other.
(If you use broth it takes a while to cook the food)

Bon Appetit!

Cheese fondue, Filet, Chicken, Mushrooms and Broccoli. Yummy!

I really enjoy entertaining and cooking for people.

Icing on the cake:

Dessert Fondue- we shared a bowl of pineapple and strawberries dipped in chocolate!

I believe this is when we discovered the chicken if left in the oil for a longer period of time tasted like chicken nuggets from Chick-f-la

3 Days remain...

I have some news to share. This Sunday is my last day at James Hill.

I have had an amazing experience with Signature Homes and I have been so blessed to have such a tremendous career here. It was a very hard decision for me to leave but I have been considering for a while. I needed to prioritize my life a little better. My husband and I really want to start a family in the next year. Therefore, I needed a little more flexibility in life to do some of the things we enjoy before having kiddos!

I'm excited to have my life back. I've been working weekends for so long I'm not sure I know how to be normal. :) From this day forward I will not use work as an excuse! :)

See you soon! Please feel free to contact me. I will still be selling real estate so refer me to all your friends and family!
