Wow how time flies! Today Paul and I are celebrating our 3 year anniversary! We are heading out on Sunday to celebrate for a week in Savannah, GA and making our way to Disney World on Monday.
Hope we can survive this road trip. :) We don't do so well in the car. I enjoy singing and Paul hates to hear me. Oh well! He better get used to it. American Idol here I come...ok so it's the Wii version but who cares?

Sugar Plum Fairies...
Carson Cox my cute little neighbor was at my house a couple of weeks ago snooping through my pantry and discovered a little pink box. She became quite curious about the little pink box...so she asked. "Miss Tarayn I need you to come here, I have something to show you." She takes me into the pantry and just points up. I realize she is pointing to the pink metal container of Cookie Cutters and lots of sparkles and sprinkles to decorate cookies. Inside the box were crowns, dresses, purses, hats and lots of frilly pink stuff that catches a 4 year olds eyes...Wait I'm 26 and I made the purchase for myself.
So, last night we made Sugar Cookies and dressed them to the nines!
Check out our pictures.

Our Fav-or-ite Time of the Year!
"Yea Alabama"
Yea, Alabama! Drown 'em Tide!
Every 'Bama man's behind you;
Hit your stride!
Go teach the Bulldogs to behave,
Send the Yellow Jackets to a watery grave!
And if a man starts to weaken,
That's a shame!
For 'Bama's pluck and grit
Have writ her name in crimson flame!
Fight on, fight on, fight on, men!
Remember the Rose Bowl we'll win then!
Go, roll to victory,
Hit your stride,
You're Dixie's football pride, Crimson Tide!

My word today...
“Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do” (Luke 23:34).
When you’ve been hurt or offended, sometimes it’s tempting to hold on to unforgiveness. But we have to remember, when people wrong us, our battle is not against flesh and blood. In other words, that person who hurt you is not the real enemy. The Bible says that your adversary is the devil, and he knows that if you don’t forgive, then your prayers won’t be effective. Unforgiveness puts up a barrier in your life to the power of God. In fact, if we don’t forgive others, we can’t be forgiven by God. But when you choose forgiveness, you open the door for God’s healing power to flow through your life. Disarm the enemy in your life today by choosing forgiveness. Bless those who curse you and pray for those who wrong you. Look at what Jesus did—when He was betrayed, beaten, mocked, and disrespected, He chose forgiveness. As you follow His example, you will open the door for God to move in your life.

Race Day: Ross Bridge 8K Run/Walk
Well, today was race day and it was time to show off my skills. Ha! Major skills it takes to run an 8k. For those of us that are kilometerly challenged 8 kilometers = 4.97096954 miles!
Before the race (still a little puffy) with Whitney one of my friends from RPD (Ross Park Drive).
I started running about 5 months ago seriously. I started very slow and have gradually built up my endurance.
I finished the race in 51 min. What?? That's a 10 min. mile!

How Appropriate for my first Blog Posting...
Did anyone know that comer in Spanish means "To Eat"?
I know everyone is thinking...Thanks for the Spanish lesson, Tarayn. :) I really have a point.
I have been doing so well lately with my running and workout routine but I still LOVE pizza. Any kind of pizza..Little Ceasers, Pizza Hut, Sanpeggios, Dominoes, California Pizza Kitchen, Sbarro, Papa Johns, tombstone, etc. Can you tell I'm hungry and am craving pizza?
Why is it when you are doing well with exercising you want to do horrible on the eating end?
Practice makes Perfect
Baby Kyle is growing like a little weed and is 16 weeks old. A couple of weeks ago I got to spend some valuable time "Practicing" on that booger. He just let me love on him and love some more. I went over to Aunt Tonya's one morning while she was keeping him and snatched him from my mom who was there also.
He was so sweet and let me first feed him 12 ounces of formula. I burped him twice while feeding and he loved me. His Aunt Tarayn was loving it and hogging him up!
After feeding him I noticed he had had a wet diaper (No, it was not a #2 diaper) and attempted to put a new diaper on him. I have a confession...this was my FIRST time changing a diaper. It went well even though he got a little fussy with me because I was not as quick as his mommy.

Taylor Swift Rehearsal
Thanks Kendall! I had no idea our Taylor Swift Rehearsal was going to pay off. I was invited last Friday to the Taylor Swift concert with one of my friends Tarah. We had a great time singing and dancing!
This picture was taken after Adrian's (My cousin) wedding in August. Kendall had a tough time "marrying off" her sister. So, when Adrian and Jonathan left for their honeymoon we headed to Target and got LOTS of goodies.
The wedding and reception both were beautiful! Congrats!
